A busy year for Guernsey

Guernsey moves to further streamline fund establishment process.

This year saw a kind of arms race between tax haven domiciles. Guernsey was among the busiest, issuing a raft of consultation papers and launching new initiatives to make the Channel Island more attractive to private fund managers and LPs alike. Connor Hussey reports on yet another recent development out of Guernsey: a consultation paper proposing to expand its Private Investment Fund regime, removing some requirements for fund managers and further streamlining the fund establishment process.
