Application Experts rebrands as Altvia Solutions

As part of the rebrand, the private equity software solutions provider – which counts Phoenix Equity Partners and Altus Capital Partners among its clients – has also unveiled a new website.

Private equity software solutions provider Application Experts (AppX) has changed its name to Altvia Solutions.

“The rebrand is part of a strategic initiative to better align the company’s messaging with its products, clients, and vision for the future,” according to a statement from the firm. It will allow the company’s image and messaging to better reflect its software offering and distinguish the firm’s experience within the alternative investment space.

Altvia works with over 200 fund managers, funds of funds, institutional investors, impact investors and other members of the alternative asset community, according to the statement. The firm counts London-based private equity firm Phoenix Equity Partners and US-based firm Altus Capital Partners among its clients.

Alongside its change of name, the firm has also unveiled a new website, Altvia.com.

According to Altvia, the new name was carefully selected to consider the firm’s goals, culture and industry expertise. ‘Alt,’ in addition to being a commonly used abbreviation for alternative assets, is a root for words signifying height or ascension. In combination with the Latin ‘Via,’ meaning a road or way, the new name reflects Altvia’s drive to be its alternative investment clients’ ‘path to the top,’ the firm said in the statement.

The rebranding will have no impact on existing contracts or client commitments. The firm’s team and corporate structure also remains unchanged.
