Bridge Alternatives expands outsource business with five senior hires

The C-suite outsourcing firm adds the new roles to meet growing client demand.

Outsourced CFO and COO provider Bridge Alternative Investment Solutions has made five senior appointments as it grows its business to meet client demands.

The business appointed Adam Whitmore to CFO, expanding the group’s footprint in Atlanta, Georgia. Whitmore spent more than eight years at SS&C Technologies, most recently as associate manager. Immediately prior to joining Bridge Alternatives, he was an officer at State Street for a year.

Whitmore assumes the CFO role from Kyle Fields, who joined Bridge Alternatives in November after spending 11 years at SS&C. Fields remains with the firm as managing partner.

Also joining the firm are partners Shane Bates and Nick Gilliam. Bates joins from Apex Group, where he was most recently vice-president. Gilliam spent 10 years as a director at SS&C before joining Bridge Alternatives.

The firm also hired directors Seth Ferguson and David Haire. Ferguson spent five years as a tax supervisor at regional public accounting firm Harding, Shymanski & Company, and was previously a private equity fund accountant intern at SS&C, according to his LinkedIn profile. Haire was previously involved in real estate ventures.

Specialist alternative investment adviser Bridge Alternatives launched the outsourcing Bridge Alternative Investment Solutions in November as more investment management firms sought third-party solutions in an increasingly competitive market.

Bridge Alternative Investment Solutions claims it provides virtually every function that an in-house CFO, COO and/or controller would, including books and records management; cash movements and controls; fee calculations and billing; audit management and coordination; tax compliance and coordination; and service provider oversight and relationship management.
