Bridge Growth hires VP of finance

The recently launched NY growth private equity firm recruited Solera Capital’s former CFO for the role.

Bridge Growth Partners appointed Alison Catchpole as vice president of finance and controller.

Catchpole is the former chief financial officer and managing director of rival New York-based growth private equity investment firm Solera Capital, where she was responsible for Solera’s finance and investor relations functions, and was also a liaison with each portfolio company’s chief financial officer.

Prior to joining Solera, Catchpole spent eight years at Invesco Private Capital as vice president of operations and before that was an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers, specializing in the financial services industry.

Bridge Growth was founded in June 2013, with the idea of combining private equity expertise with operating expertise.

The firm’s three founders include two long-time private equity executives – Alok Singh, who was previously a managing director at New Mountain Capital, and Sander Levy, a founding partner and managing director at Vestar Capital Partners – plus Kevin Parker, former head of financial software company Deltek.

Bridge Growth focuses on opportunities in technology and financial services, as well as “technology enabled opportunities” in other areas like cyber security, business intelligence and analytics.
