BVCA appoints SEP partner as vice chair

Calum Paterson will assist chair Helen Steers at the British PE industry body.

The British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association has appointed Scottish Equity Partners’ managing partner Calum Paterson as its vice-chair for 2017-18.

He will support the work of BVCA chair Helen Steers, who was appointed in December.
Paterson has led venture capital growth equity firm Scottish Equity since its formation in 2000.

Steers is a partner and head of European primary investments at Pantheon Ventures, a London-headquartered private equity firm.

The BVCA represents the private equity and venture capital industry in the UK.
