Katajisto, who joined the firm in 2006 as a human resources manager, was later promoted as a member of the management group in 2007, according to the firm’s website.

The firm has already begun searching for a replacement, however it has said chief financial officer Niko Haavisto will assume responsibility of human resources and office services until a successor is appointed.

Established in 1989, Capman targets investments in Nordic and Russian companies and in real estate primarily in Finland. The firm manages funds with approximately €3.6 billion in total capital.
