Citco names longtime insider as head of PE and private credit

Citco announced that it has chosen Claudia Bertolino, an experienced Citco insider, as its new head of private equity and private credit. The position was vacant and previously called head of private equity, a spokesperson told Private Funds CFO, but it was updated “to reflect the growing need to recognize private credit as its own offering.”

The service provider said Bertolino will be tasked with implementing “ambitious digitization plans” to benefit its client experience. Her technology goals will cover expanding data integration with clients and establishing “technology-enabled platforms” to assist managers in private equity and private credit.

Bertolino has been with Citco for more than 20 years, the service provider noted. She was most recently head of business development, which she stepped into in 2017. Prior to that, she was head of client service management. Additionally, Bertolino has served on the Citco Fund Service’s Management Team for more than five years.
