Crestbridge appoints Jersey-based director

Elliot Refson will develop and promote the fund administrator’s onshore and offshore ManCo services.

Fund and corporate service provider Crestbridge has appointed Elliot Refson as a director in its Jersey office as part of the continued expansion of its management company service.

Refson was previously business development director at Jersey Finance, which promotes the jurisdiction’s financial services industry. Prior to that he held senior roles at Ermitage, where he managed a global macro hedge fund.

He will be responsible for developing and promoting the onshore and offshore services globally.

Crestbridge was one of the first firms in Jersey to be granted a license by the Jersey Financial Services Commission to offer a ManCo platform, and was one of the first to establish a third-party ManCo in Luxembourg covering both UCITS and AIFMD funds four years ago.

In October, the Jersey-headquartered firm was named as the manager of the first platform to be launched under Luxembourg’s Reserved Alternative Investment Fund Scheme, via which non-EU managers can bring funds to market across the bloc.

The firm also has operations in the Cayman Islands and London, and has a headcount of more than of 180.
