‘Encouraging’ signs on democratization of PE

Affiliate title Private Equity International interviewed the chief investment officer of Fidelity International about what he says are encouraging signs for the prospect of broadening access to private equity. More progress is needed on the technological and regulatory front, he says, but the Department of Labor’s guidance last year on the matter “gives support to some of the thinking that we’ve had around how we see this democratization framework.”
