FF&P names first finance director

FF&P private equity, the private equity arm of UK-based family office Fleming Family & Partners, hired Kenny Miller to the newly created role of finance director.

Miller joins the lower-mid market firm from Hutton Collins Capital Partners, a London-based mid-market private equity house, where he was financial controller. He will be responsible for the reporting and fund administration for existing and future FF&P funds.

Prior to Hutton Collins, Miller held private equity fund accounting roles at 3i, where he was fund controller for the firm’s $1.2 billion Indian infrastructure fund and fund accountant for its £3 billion ($5 billion; €3.7 billion) European buyout fund. Before joining 3i Miller also held fund roles at State Street and Bank of New York.

“Kenny’s extensive experience of the institutional market will complement our growth plans and his appointment to the newly created role of finance director reflects our desire to grow the senior ranks of the team,” said in a statement David Barbour, co-head of FF&P Private Equity.

FF&P invests between £3 million to £15 million in companies valued from £5 million to £50 million in a variety of situations including minority investments, management buyouts/buy-ins, development and replacement capital.
