GIIN appoints managing director

Giselle Leung will develop field-building initiatives and work with the organization’s partners.

The Global Impact Investing Network has promoted Giselle Leung to managing director.

Among her responsibilities, Leung will establish and maintain relationships with GIIN’s strategic partners. She began the role last month, according to her LinkedIn.

Leung has worked at GIIN for over seven years, originally as founding manager of the Investor’s Council, which counts Abraaj Group and Credit Suisse as members. She was most recently a director overseeing GIIN’s online database of impact investment funds and vehicles.

It is unclear whether Amit Bouri, co-founder and current chief executive, will continue in the managing director role.

GIIN is a global non-profit organization, working to increase the scale and effectiveness of impact investment.
