Jaguar builds legal team

Two executives were appointed to the private equity real estate firm’s compliance and legal team.

Private equity real estate firm Jaguar Growth Partners made two key hires to bolster its compliance and legal functions.

Joining from law firm Bingham McCutchen (now known as Morgan Lewis & Bockius) is Latin America-focused corporate lawyer Bruce Wolfson, who will become the firm’s general counsel. Joining as senior vice president of operations and chief compliance officer is Eva Lo, who previously provided legal oversight, recruiting and underwriting and managed special projects for peer real estate firm Rockwell Partners.

The two hires’ “experience and knowledge in a variety of areas including real estate, private equity and emerging markets made them a perfect fit for Jaguar,” said in a statement Jaguar managing partner Thomas McDonald.

New York-based Jaguar, co-headed by former Equity International executives Gary Garrabrant and McDonald, focuses exclusively on global growth markets outside of the US, particularly Latin America.
