Lime Rock names CFO and COO

The energy-focused firm promoted Morrow Evans to CFO and Tim Miller to COO.

Lime Rock Resources, a private equity firm specializing in oil and gas, promoted three of its vice presidents to chief operating officer, chief financial officer and chief engineer.

Tim Miller, who has been with the firm since its inception in 2005, will take on the chief operating officer role.

Chris Butta has become Lime Rock’s chief engineer. Previously, Butta worked at Miller and Lents, a consulting firm specializing in oil and gas reserve evaluations and economic analyses.

Morrow Evans, who joined in 2009, has become chief financial officer. Prior to joining the Lime Rock, he spent five years at Goldman Sachs E&P Capital Group.

Lime Rock Resources acquires and operates oil and gas properties in the US from its Houston headquarters and has raised a total of $5.5 billion to date.
