In other news, private equity consultancy Accordion Partners has added Rishi Jain to its team as managing director and head of the western region.

The New York-based firm works in the financial office of companies that private equity funds have acquired to improve operational performance and strategy.

“The CFO at a PE portfolio company has a greater deal of responsibility that a normal day-to-day company CFO,” Jain says. “He or she is still managing all the regular finance blocking and tackling, but in a changing operational environment while also needing to provide very routing insight to the PE sponsor.”

The firm currently has 150 private equity clients across the US.
