MidEuropa appoints COO

Manish Mittal will oversee the Central and Eastern Europe-focused firm’s internal operations.

As part of a round of 2015 promotions, Manish Mittal was raised to chief operating officer at European mid-market firm MidEuropa.

Mittal joined the firm in 2012 as chief financial officer, having previously served as a finance director with Kennet Partners. Kennet targets growth-stage investments in the US and Europe.

It is understood Mittal will retain his duties as chief financial officer.

Manish, who is based in London, was part of the fundraising team of Mid Europa Fund IV, which closed €800 million in capital last July.

Also receiving promotions are deal specialists Pawel Padusinski, Robert Chmelar and Gyozo Lantos. They were made partner, director and associate respectively. Helena Lehtmets was promoted to operations executive.

Established in 1999, Mid Europa is focused on the growth markets of Central and Eastern Europe and Turkey with approximately €4.2 billion of funds raised and managed since inception.
