MVision opens San Francisco office

The office will be MVision’s second in the US

Global investment advisory firm MVision has opened a new office in San Francisco, California. The office will be the firm’s second in the US, and will focus on investment activity on the West Coast, in addition to MVision’s global client base.

A team from the New York office including Nick Wall, have relocated to manage the expansion.

“We'll be looking at the private equity space as well as VC – given the amazing activity in the Bay Area,” Mounir Guen, CEO of MVision, told Private Equity International. “We see a strong opportunity in San Francisco, there is significant activity on both the investor and fund side that we can add value to.”

“We are excited to be in San Francisco to build on the relationships MVision has established and to find and partner with innovative emerging and developed General Partners across the region,” Wall added.

The news follows another recent expansion of the firm to the Asia-Pacific region. As PEI reported in August, Guen moved from his long time London base to head up efforts in Hong Kong.

Guen told PEI that the decision to base himself in Asia-Pacific had come in recognition of the region’s enormous growth potential for private equity and related investment strategies.
