Pinsent Masons has developed an artificial intelligence-powered commercial contracts solution to support clients navigating Brexit.
The tool is expected to be used by clients across all industries, including private equity, and will help clients to identify risk in existing portfolios, address Brexit risk in future contracts, and highlight any business-critical supply chain risk.
Pinsent Masons intends to use its AI platform to extract, review and analyze key contract risks, and provide actionable risk reports.
“In the uncertain world of Brexit, our clients have asked us how best to manage the risk posed by that continuing uncertainty through their contracts and we wanted to develop a truly comprehensive response,” said Clare Francis, a partner in the commercial team at Pinsent Masons who has led the development of the Brexit solution.
“By leveraging the firm’s various technologies we can build certainty, efficiency and consistency into an overall solution. That enables clients to guard against risks but also consider what competitive advantage can be gained through astute contracting.”
This is the third Brexit-related service launched by the Pinsent Masons. Its Brexit Advisory Services (BASe) is a crowdfunded portal which provides subscribers with responses to Brexit-related legal queries within 48 hours, while its Public Policy unit was set up to facilitate client engagement with the government over Brexit-related issues.
