Pritzker Private Capital expands ops team

The family-owned private investment firm hires new fund controller and promotes two in technology and HR.

Family-owned private investment firm Pritzker Private Capital has hired Renee Stock as fund controller.

Stock will lead internal auditing, financial reporting and accounting operations across PPC and its family of companies. She will also support the firm’s ongoing implementation of its expanding ESG program.

Prior to joining Pritzker, Stock spent more than 10 years at Grant Thornton, most recently as senior manager of audit as well as ESG & sustainability.

Pritzker also announced two promotions on the firm’s technology and human resources teams.

Jeff Carlson, who  joined Pritzker Group in 2014 as director of information technology, has been promoted to principal and head of technology at PPC. In this role he oversees the firm’s technology group.

According to his LinkedIn profile, prior to joining Pritzker Group in 2014 Carlson spent six years as vice president of information technology at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where he developed applications for the firm’s Total Return Swap trading desk and worked in an operations and technology capacity.

PPC also promoted Silvia Yim to vice president of human resources. Yim leads the firm’s human resources team, where she manages the firm’s recruiting and talent development initiatives, drives employee engagement strategies and plays an important role advancing the firm’s DEI commitments. She has been with the firm for three years.

Yim was previously human resources specialist at technology provider Saggezza.
