Satori recruits TPG talent for CFO role

The Texas-based mid-market investor hired a senior TPG director as chief financial officer.

Willie Houston, who most recently served as senior director of financial operations at global buyout firm TPG Capital, was named chief financial officer at Satori Capital.

Satori Capital is a mid-market private equity firm based in Texas, targeting companies with annual EBITDA of $5 million to $20 million. As CFO, Houston will hold oversight of all financial and compliance aspects for Satori's private equity business and for Satori Alpha, the firm's alternative portfolio management platform.

Houston spent six years at TPG, where he was also CFO of TPG's registered broker-dealer, which focuses on private placements and underwritings. Before that he was a member of Ernst & Young's business advisory services team.

“Along with his vast experience at TPG, one of the world's leading diversified private investment firms, [Houston] brings keen judgment, operational experience, and deep financial acumen to Satori,” said in a statement Randy Eisenman, managing partner of Satori Capital.
