After serving as chief financial officer at CI Capital Partners since 2011, Jerry Truzzolino will serve in a similar position at rival mid-market investor SK Capital Partners. A call to CI Capital to determine Truzzolino’s possible replacement went unanswered.
Prior to 2011, Truzzalino was at Neuberger Berman where he was a co-head of their finance group. Before that, he held financial positions with Lehman Brothers' private equity division and The Blackstone Group.
“We are excited to add [Truzzalino] to the growing and talented team of professionals at our firm,” said Jamshid Keynejad, a SK Capital managing director in a firm statement. “His deep experience in fund accounting and compliance are significant assets to our firm as well as our investors.”
In related news, Philip Marxen was promoted to principal after joining SK Capital as a vice president in early 2014, according to the statement.
New York-based SK Capital, which focuses on the specialty materials, chemicals and healthcare sectors, closed its SK Capital Partners IV vehicle on $1 billion in December.
