Private equity firm Teakwood Capital named Bob Mosteller as managing director of finance and chief financial officer.
Mosteller joins from Texas-based venture capital firm Silver Creek Ventures where he was chief financial officer.
While at Silver Creek, Mosteller was responsible for the operations, finance, accounting and administrative functions for the firm’s funds. He also worked closely with the financial operations groups of their portfolio companies to assist in budgeting, reporting, raising equity and bank related capital.
“His breadth of industry knowledge brings additional investment insight to our portfolio companies,” said Shawn Kelly, managing director of Teakwood Capital, in a statement.
“His recent experience as the CFO of another institutionally backed firm will further systematize and strengthen our regulatory and limited partner reporting capabilities.”
Teakwood Capital invests in technology-focused companies with revenues below $25 million. The firm typically focuses on companies in Texas and neighboring states.
