The cost of raising a fund is increasing

The ‘sheer cost’ of raising a fund is on the rise, according to a Proskauer report.

Increased regulations and enhanced investor due diligence and negotiation processes are driving up the costs of starting a fund, according to Proskauer’s European Fundraising Terms and Trends 2022 report. Investors have been footing the bill on increasingly higher establishment cost caps, Madeleine Farman writes for affiliate publication Private Equity International.
