They’re hired: Sanne, Eaton Partners and MUFG have new staff

European Fund Administration chief steps down after 20 years, Sanne appoints head of private equity for the EMEA region.

European Fund Administration, a Luxembourg-based fund services firm, has named Noel Fessey as its new chief executive. He will take on the position next year, subject to Luxembourg regulatory approval. Fessey is currently chief operating officer of product at Schroders in Luxembourg. Thomas Seale, who has led EFA for 20 years, is retiring at the end of the year.

Sanne, a global fund administration firm, has appointed Oliver Morris as its head of private equity for the EMEA region. Morris joins from KPMG Jersey, where he was a director in the private equity group.

Danny Hook has been named executive director of relationship management at MUFG Investor Services, a global asset services arm of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group. Based in New York, his main role will be to develop the firm’s services for alternative investment customers. Hook joins from Blackstone, where he led teams in fund accounting, product structuring, operations and services.

Global placement agent Eaton Partners, has made five hires across London, the US and Hong Kong. Craig White, previously at Probitas Partners, has joined as a managing director within the distribution team based in the Rowayton, Connecticut, office. Daniel Rosenthal Ayash and Aki Islam join as vice-presidents in the London office. Nina Yang joins as a director based in Hong Kong, and Ryan Haselden joins as a senior associate in Houston.

In the legal market, offshore-focused law firm Ogier, has appointed Frédéric Pilorget as managing associate on its German-facing desk in Luxembourg. An M&A layer, he will advise German clients on Luxembourg corporate law and private equity. He previously practiced at Stibbe Luxembourg and Allen & Overy Luxembourg.
