Global fund administrator TMF Group has appointed Kwame Lewis as head of fund services for North America to support and accelerate its growth plans in the region.
Lewis previously served as chief financial officer for ACON Investments, a mid-market buyout firm with more than $5 billion in AUM, in addition to spending 16 years at PwC as an auditor for private equity and venture capital funds.
Lewis, in his newly-created role, will report to Andrew O’Shea, global head of fund services, and Jan Willem van Drimmelen, market head for North America.
Lewis’s appointment continues the group’s buildup of its North America business. In July, fund admin veteran Howard Eisen was appointed head of fund service sales for North America, among other hires.
The expansion of TMF Group’s fund administration services is apparent in other markets, as the group announced its intention to acquire Luxembourg-based management company Selectra last week, pending regulatory approval.
