As 2019 winds down, our sister title Private Equity International gears up for its annual awards. Voting begins today.

Every year since 2001 we’ve given you – the industry – the opportunity to determine the outcome of private equity’s most extensive set of global awards.

With 76 categories across three regions, you’re encouraged to vote in any category you feel qualified to judge.

The voting survey is split into five sections:

  • Global awards;
  • EMEA awards;
  • North America awards;
  • Asia-Pacific awards; and
  • Secondaries awards.

To help you navigate the voting process we’ve drawn up a shortlist for each category based on our coverage throughout the year, our conversations with the market and your submissions. You can also add your own choice, if you feel the rightful winner isn’t on our list.

Our long-time subscribers will notice we’ve got a few extra categories this year. For the first time we’ve grouped all our secondaries awards categories together and expanded them to better reflect the evolution of this fast-growing part of the market. We’ve added two new awards – preferred equity deal of the year and direct secondaries deal of the year – and split our three regional secondaries deal of the year awards into two: LP sale of the year and GP-led deal of the year.

The rules for voting are simple: you may only vote once; you may not vote for yourself or your own firm nor engage in block voting; and non-corporate email addresses will be discounted (so, no Hotmail or Gmail entries). The polls close on Friday, 10 January, with results revealed in March.

We can’t wait to find out your thoughts.
