Actis fundraiser joins Invest Europe

The new director of membership at the industry agency will improve communication with its more than 600 members.

Marc Nahum has been named the first director of membership at European private equity association Invest Europe.

Nahum, who previously worked in private equity fundraising and investor relations at Actis, began his role on January 9. He will be charged with increasing member engagement across Europe.

Nahum has held directorial positions at The Carlyle Group and RREEF Private Equity, and vice-president positions at Credit Suisse.

The hire is Invest Europe’s first since Michael Collins took over as chief executive in October.

Invest Europe represents Europe’s private equity, venture capital and infrastructure fund sectors, and their long-term investors.
