EisnerAmper boosts NY tax practice

The advisory and accounting firm recruited a tax director from rival PwC. 

EisnerAmper has named Simcha David a partner in its New York tax practice. He will also be a member of the advisory and accounting firm’s wider financial services group.

David was previously a director at PwC, where he spent close to five years, and before that served as a tax-focused legal associate at law firm Schulte Roth & Zabel, according to his LinkedIn profile.

David specializes in financial services and investment management, where he helps advisors with the initial tax planning during fund structuring, reviews partnership and offering documents, goes over the tax implications of various types of securities transactions and generally addresses any tax issues that arise during the lifecycle of a fund.
