First Names Group names deputy MD in Jersey

Andrew De La Haye has been promoted from his role as client services director at the fund administrator.

First Names Group has promoted Andrew De La Haye to deputy managing director of its Jersey trust business, effective immediately.

De La Haye was previously client services director for two years. He joined the firm following the acquisition of Seymour Trust in 2014, where he was managing director. Prior to this, he was on the board of various institutional and independent trust businesses.

De La Haye will work alongside managing director Ben Newman, who is responsible for leading the Jersey operation.

His promotion follows the hire of David Wild as chief risk officer in September and the firm’s acquisition of trust and corporate services provider Nautilus Trust Company in July. The latter pushed the group’s Jersey headcount over 300, and bolstered its existing private client offering in Hong Kong and London.

The administrator employs more than 750 people across 14 offices in Europe, Asia and North America.
