Former MN CCO tapped by fund admin firm

Willem-Jan Pelle will serve as Netherlands director of Langham Hall, a UK fund administrator.

Willem-Jan Pelle has been appointed director of the Netherlands office of Langham Hall, a global fund administration business.

Pelle has held high-level positions in private equity, including serving as Dutch pension fund MN’s chief compliance officer for 11 years. He also spent seven years at Composition Capital Partners, a real estate-focused firm, with four funds spanning Asia and Europe. A trained lawyer, he has recently been advising clients on the development and promotion of the AIFMD depositary function and related private equity and real estate services.

Pelle will head a new office in the Netherlands. Langham Hall already has offices in seven locations, including New York and Guernsey.

“Opening in the Netherlands is mainly due to the lack of sector-specific knowledge among competitors but also strong investor focus,” Rob Short, managing partner at Langham Hall, told pfm.

Langham Hall is a UK-based international fund administrator, with $35 billion of assets under administration.
