Goodman Group names new CFO

The real estate firm has promoted former controller Clint Knacke to lead its finance team.

Private real estate firm and developer The Goodman Group has promoted former controller Clint Knacke to the role of chief financial officer (CFO).

Knacke joined Goodman in 1996 as a retail accountant. Over the past five years he has led the accounting department as senior manager, and was named controller in 2014. In these roles he played an integral part in Goodman's global expansion to the UK, including creating capital relationships and financial modeling, according to a statement from Goodman.

As controller, Knacke was responsible for the overall function and guidance of the accounting department, including the financial, audit, tax and process improvement areas.

“[Knacke] has excelled in all areas of The Goodman Group's accounting and finance structure, including tax and new business development, and has accumulated a wealth of industry-specific knowledge during his two decades here,” said The Goodman Group chairman John Goodman in a statement.

The news of Knacke’s appointment follows another key back office promotion at the firm earlier this month, when Craig Edinger was promoted to chief operating officer.
