High Road hires ex-Riverside partner to oversee IR

Following a 13-year stint with The Riverside Company that ended earlier this year, Kristin Newhall has resurfaced at High Road Capital Partners.

Newhall was brought on as a partner focused on investor relations and administration, a new position at the firm that will include responsibility for internal human resources.

In an email exchange with pfm, Newhall said her time split between HR and IR will “ebb and flow” as work demands dictate.

“[Newhall’s] outstanding experience on the investment side and her leadership abilities in guiding teams and growing organizations are tremendous assets for High Road as we continue our own significant growth,” said in a statement High Road managing partner Bob Fitzsimmons.

With more than $470 million of committed capital under management, New York-based High Road Capital is a private equity firm focused on smaller middle-market transactions.
