ISIS Fund Services bolsters PE practice

PE Manager tracks third party service providers: A former SEC director joins CamberView Partners; fund administrator ISIS Fund Service hires a private equity chief; and more.

• Fund administrator ISIS Fund Services hired Collin Martin as group manager for its private equity practice in Charlotte, North Carolina. Collin joins from JP Morgan's Dallas outfit where he was responsible for fund administration services to both private equity and real estate funds.

• SS&C Technologies, a financial services software firm, said its fund administration software, SS&C GlobeOp, now has voice recognition in its iPhone and iPad Apps. Customers using the technology can access the menu, review fund documents and access critical reports by using predefined keywords like “show me my fund’s exposure by asset class” for instance.

• Fund administrator Aztec made three senior promotions. Michelle McNaney is now director of the Jersey office; she was formerly an associate director at the firm managing multiple teams specializing in private equity fund administration. Michael Wood and Peter Blackburn have been promoted to associate directors of the Jersey office. Wood leads a team dedicated to private equity fund administration while Blackburn focuses on the accounting requirements of private equity fund of funds.

• Financial advisors CamberView Partners added Eileen Rominger, former director of the division of investment management at the Securities and Exchange Commission, and before that the global chief investment officer of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, as a senior advisor. 

• Recruitment firm CTPartners named Paul Aldrich and Tim Kemp as the firm's global chief human resources officers in Asia and Europe, respectively. Aldrich was previously a partner in the firm's Hong Kong office, while Kemp joined CTPartners as partner when the firm acquired recruitment firm Augmentum in May.

• Risk management firm Kroll Advisory Solutions hired Peter Glanville as an associate managing director in its Greater China investigations and disputes practice. He joins from Deloitte where he was a senior member of the forensic accounting team.
