King & Wood Mallesons has confirmed the rescue of a select few European and Middle Eastern offices, the firm said on Wednesday.
The locations saved by the firm’s new business structure are London, Frankfurt, Dubai and Riyadh and affiliated offices in Madrid, Milan and Brussels. The offices will no longer offer full service capabilities, but will instead focus on the core practice areas of Corporate M&A, Finance, Competition and Dispute Resolution.
The troubled law firm had called in administrators for its European arm yesterday, following months of high profile departures from the firm.
Earlier this week a series of leaked emails, as reported in the legal press, revealed the acrimony among the partners of the firm.
