Legato Capital CCO joins Cordium

Lusine Moshkounian has joined Cordium as vice president of its compliance consulting division in San Francisco.

Moshkounian was previously chief compliance officer and legal counsel for Legato Capital Management, a San Francisco-based private equity firm. Before that, she was a branch chief at the US Securities and Exchange Commission, where she worked in the Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations.

At Cordium, a compliance consultancy that also offers accounting and tax services, Moshkounian will advise private fund managers on how to implement and maintain compliance programs as well as provide mock audit services.

“We are delighted to welcome [Moshkounian] to the Cordium team. She brings with her a wealth of compliance and legal experience that we envisage her utilizing to develop and grow our consulting business in the US,” said in a statement Cordium chief executive Bill Mulligan.
