Partech Ventures nabs lawyer Noel

Karen Noel will add to the venture capital firm’s M&A, financing and IPO expertise.

Partech Ventures has hired Karen Noel to advise on mergers and acquisitions, financing rounds and initial public offerings.

Noel joins from Paris-headquartered law firm Gide Loyrette Nouel where she led venture capital operations in digital and life sciences in France, Europe and the US, and provided consulting services for entrepreneurs and investment funds.

Her clients have included JPMorgan, Citigroup and William Blair. She has previously worked with Partech, advising the seed and venture capital funds during investments in ManoMano, Teads, Sigfox, Lendix and LaFourchette.

Noel’s addition is part of Partech’s expansion. In 2016 the firm appointed another two general partners, bringing the total to 10. Emmanuel Delaveau took charge of business development and Reza Malekzadeh advises on infrastructure and software companies in Silicon Valley.

Founded in 1982 in Silicon Valley, Partech is a global investment firm with offices in San Francisco, Paris and Berlin. Most partners have been entrepreneurs or held management positions within tech companies.
