Dunedin expands UK presence

UK-based Dunedin is shifting to larger offices in London and making a number of key staff changes as it “aggressively” seeks increased deal flow, the firm said in a statement.

At the firm’s London office, which will move to larger premises in St James’s, Oliver Bevan and Nicholas Hoare have been promoted to investment managers. Bevan and Hoare originally joined the team in 2007 as an associate and analyst respectively.

The firm’s Edinburgh office will also be beefed up with the recruitment of new associate, Jamie Moodie, who previously worked as a senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers since 2006.

Moodie will join Simon Rowan and Jenny Lugtion, who have both been promoted to senior associate and research associate in the firm’s Edinburgh office respectively.

Dunedin, which targets deals in the £20 million (€23 million; $32 million) to £75 million range, closed the £250 million “Dunedin Buyout Fund II” in 2006. The fund is approximately 40 percent invested.
