Conversus names investor relations head

Conversus Capital has hired Roger Brookes as head of investor relations, replacing Steve Hall who left the company in April.

The company decided to base its investor relations head in London, a first for Conversus.

“This is really a new London-based position which Conversus believes will further raise its profile with UK and European investors while allowing the firm to maintain its momentum in the US,” said a spokesperson.

Brookes will report to Tim Smith, Conversus’ chief financial officer.

“[Brookes] will be very active in the financial community and we will take full advantage of his London presence to more proactively interact with our current and prospective UK and European investors,” said Smith in a statement.

Brookes most recently worked in specialist sales at CF Partners, focusing on asset backed products. Prior to joining CF Partners, he was an associate director at Bear Stearns focused on sales in the private equity sector.
