Revelry Brands hires CFO and COO

The growth stage private equity firm has named a former Pepsi Cola exec as chief operating officer and Seth Beers as chief financial officer.

Revelry Brands, the firm that provides growth stage equity to companies in the natural foods and consumer products categories, has bolstered its back office by hiring a chief financial officer and chief operating officer.

The pair will take up these newly created positions with the firm as Revelry moves to an operating model, according to Revelry co-founder, Brendan Synnott. Revelry will now “offer a c-suite of services to our portfolio businesses” after taking majority positions, Synnott added in an email to PE Manager

Gil Fronzaglia joins the Colorado-based firm as chief operating officer. He was previously chief operating officer at Food Should Taste Good, a growth stage natural tortilla chip company.

Before that Fronzaglia held executive positions at drinks retailers Izze Beverage Company, SoBe Beverage Company and the Pepsi Cola Company.

Fronzaglia is joined by Seth Beers who takes on the chief financial officer role. Prior to joining Revelry, Beers was CFO and COO at organic cotton underwear retailer PACT Apparel.

While at PACT, Beers helped the company raise more than $4.5 million of growth equity and led the business following Revelry's acquisition of the company in 2011, according to a statement.

Previously, Beers was an investment banker in the consumer products sector at Banc of America Securities and Green, Manning and Bunch.

Revelry's investments include PACT, Only Natural Pet Store, natural food retailer EVOL Foods and Icelandic diary retailers Siggi's Dairy.
