SEC's Asset Management Advisory Committee is considering recommending a regime of 'strong intervention' into ESG markets, among other possible options for the regulator's oversight

ESG: Connor Hussey reports that the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Asset Management Advisory Committee is considering a range of possible recommendations to the regulator for its oversight of investments marketed as ESG. One of the possible recommendations is a regime of ‘strong intervention’ to prevent greenwashing and to ensure ‘truth in labeling’.
