Service update: Latest moves in fund admin – May 2012

• WTP Advisors has expanded its offerings for Form PF, the reporting obligation set out by the US Securities and Exchange Commission. WTP is offering data analysis for each question on Form PF as part of its reporting framework.

• Bovill, the financial services regulatory consultants, has bolstered its London operations creating a new chief operating officer role. Taking on the role is former FBR Capital Markets International chief operating officer Rachel Aldridge. She will be joined by consultants Francesca Bell of KPMG and Andrew Garner of brokerage firm Brewin Dolphin.

• MaplesFS, the fund services provider, expanded its Middle Eastern presence with three senior hires in its Dubai office. Former chief operating officer at Clarkson Investment Services, Fred Tabbal, joins as regional head of fund services working with Charlotte Windsor who will be vice president of fund services. Andrew Millar re-joins Maples, after two years in Australia with business brokers Sunbelt Australia, to take on the role of senior vice president of fiduciary services.

• JPMorgan’s Worldwide Securities Services business will provide fund administration services to the 8 Miles Fund, an Africa-focused vehicle backed by musician Bob Geldof. JPMorgan will look after the recently closed fund’s accounting, capital call management, investor reporting, and investor tracking. Investors in the fund include the African Development Bank, the UK government-owned finance institution CDC, and the World Bank’s private sector arm the International Finance Corporation.

• Silver Mountain Group is offering a complete solution to private equity investors who want to outsource their entire operational due diligence. The due diligence provider is conducting operational risk assessments as well as initial and ongoing due diligence.
