Survey: Private equity pros ‘distrust legal fees’

PE firms, looking to cut legal costs, say they don't trust the billing amounts

Most PE pros don’t trust their legal advisors to bill them correctly, according to a survey of 100 firms by Apperio, a legal expense management and analytics company. They do, however, trust their advice, and maybe the right advice has no price.

Connor Hussey has more on the survey, which indicates that PE firms are expecting to cut down on and scrutinize legal costs this year.
