Accordion sets up shop in San Francisco

Accordion Partners, a US private equity consultancy, has appointed Rishi Jain as managing director of the western region. He will lead a team of between 10 and 15, which he is currently recruiting, in the San Francisco office.

He joins the firm from Alvarez & Marsal, a private equity consultancy, where he was a senior director in its north American corporate restructuring team. He worked there for 11 years.

Accordion advises private equity firms and their portfolio companies on strategic finance, operational accounting and performance improvement.
