AIC appoints Riverside’s Pam Hendrickson as first vice-chair

Hendrickson 'has worked closely with the AIC team for years educating policymakers and the public about the benefits of private equity,' said American Investment Council chairman of the board Steve Klinsky.

The American Investment Council (AIC) has announced its appointment of Pam Hendrickson to the newly-created position of vice-chair of its board of directors. She previously served on the board.

Hendrickson was chief operating officer of Riverside from 2006 until this month, when she was promoted to vice-chairman, according to her LinkedIn profile. She is a senior sponsor of Riverside’s diversity and inclusion committee, and prior to joining the firm, served as a managing director at JP Morgan for 22 years.

“Pam has extensive experience supporting small businesses at The Riverside Company and has worked closely with the AIC team for years educating policymakers and the public about the benefits of private equity,” said AIC chairman of the board Steve Klinsky.

The news follows AIC’s recent appointment of Dillon Iwu as director of government affairs, another newly-created position.
