Clearlake names CCO

Fred Ebrahemi will join the firm as general counsel and chief compliance officer.

California-based Clearlake Capital Group, is bringing on Fred Ebrahemi as general counsel and chief compliance officer for the special situations firm. Ebrahemi joins from Platinum Equity Advisors where he was senior vice president and deputy general counsel.

Clearlake also made a handful of promotions. 

Prashant Mehrotra will become partner, focused on technology companies and technology enabled industries. Mehrotra currently serves as a director on several Clearlake portfolio boards including Heat Software, NetMotion and ConvergeOne. He joined the firm in 2010 from Silver Lake Partners.

Colin Leonard and Arta Tabaee have been promoted to principal. Leonard joined the firm in 2007 from HBK Investments, and focuses on distressed companies. Leonard currently serves as a director on the boards of Clearlake companies Futuris Global, IronGate Energy, and Smart Sand. Tabaee joined the firm in 2010 from H.I.G. Capital, and focuses on special situations. Tabaee currently serves as a director on the boards of Amquip, Proven Brands and SWI.

James Pade has been promoted to Vice President after two years with the firm. Prior to Clearlake he was with TowerBrook Capital Partners. Before finance, he played professional tennis on the ATP tour. Pade currently serves on the boards of ConvergeOne, PrimeSport and Tolt Solutions.
