Complicated fees structures, compliance consultants, alternative data

Complicated fee structures require comprehensive oversight, says the co-national director of OCIE's IA/IC exam program and associate director of the SEC's Fort Worth Regional Office.

As fee structures grow more complicated, so must your oversight, note our colleagues at sister publication Regulatory Compliance Watch. Controls at many firms “are not keeping up with the complexity of fees that are being charged to clients,” said Marshall Gandy, co-national director of OCIE’s IA/IC exam program and associate director of the SEC’s Fort Worth Regional Office.

If compliance is on your agenda, we have updated our list of compliance consultants with PE experience to include Bovill. Download the spreadhseet here.
