DC Advisory appoints MDs in London and Paris

The appointments, which include former Oddo Corporate Finance MD Stéphane Benouaich, follow three managing director promotions made by the financial advisor in May.

European corporate finance advisor DC Advisory has hired Stéphane Benouaich and Nam Quach as managing directors in the firm’s Paris and London offices, respectively.

Benouaich joins the firm from financial advisor Oddo Corporate Finance, where he worked for over six years as managing director. During this time he completed a range of transactions, including disposals, acquisitions, fund raising and IPOs for family-owned and entrepreneur-run mid-caps, private equity firms and family offices, and large corporates, according to a statement from the firm. Benouaich has advised a number of firms, including Permira Funds on the acquisition of European campsite and mobile-home company Vacalians Group last year and French media conglomerate Lagardère Group on the sale of ten of its magazine titles.

Quach joins DC’s leisure and retail team in London from accountancy firm EY, where he served as head of leisure in the firm’s UK corporate finance team for over three years. He has worked on a number of M&A and capital raising transactions involving private equity, corporates, family offices and governments, including the sale of Europe-Bet to Betsson; the sale of four iconic luxury Concorde Hotels for Starwood Capital to Constellation Hotels; and the sale of Hilton International to Hilton Hotels Corp. Prior to EY, Quach spent 14 years as an executive director at UBS, according to the statement.

DC Advisory is mid-market corporate finance advisor with specific expertise in cross-border transactions. The firm provides advice on M&A, debt raisings and restructurings. It has over 200 staff across six European offices and is a subsidiary of Daiwa Capital Markets, the investment banking arm of Japan’s Daiwa Securities Group.
