Haynes and Boone taps Hastings legal team

Haynes and Boone has hired a six-strong team of real estate partners from rival Paul Hastings in a bid to boost its activities on the East coast.

The Dallas-based law firm said it had appointed Kenneth Friedman, Robert Grados, Steven Koch, Walter Schleimer, Lawrence Mittman and Carolyn Sullivan to work from New York for Haynes and Boone’s finance practice.

Mittman and Sullivan are both restructuring and reorgansiation lawyers, while Friedman, Grados, Koch and Schleimer focus on real estate transactions law and finance.
