Private Equity International recently conducted a survey of 200 limited partner groups to obtain their views on the quality and type of information received from GPs. It found that 100 percent of LPs were satisfied with their information supply, though not overly enthusiastic (70 percent of respondents rated it as ?adequate?).

The survey also underlined the predominance of electronic forms of communication, with 90 percent of LPs now receiving information over a secure website. However, LPs had mixed views on being forced to accept electronic data by way of a partnership term and less than half would view a GP group unfavourably that did not provide documentation online.
