Kainos makes operating hires

The mid-market US firm has hired Kim Homa and Robin Olsson.

Kainos Capital has bolstered has hired two directors for its operation teams.

Kim Homa joins the firm as operations director. She was previously a director at USC Consulting Group, after a being an executive consultant at PepsiCo.

Robin Olsson, who joins as a managing director, was formerly a principal at Operations Strategy partners. He also spent nine years of his career at USC Consulting Group.

Both will be responsible for working with the management of Kainos’s portfolio companies, which include SlimFast and Hostess Foods.

Kainos is a mid-market US private equity firm, investing in the food and consumer industries. The firm closed its latest fund, Kainos Capital Partners II, on a $895 million hard-cap.
