Maitland restructures institutional client team

The fund administrator has appointed department heads to the five fund services products it offers institutional clients.

Fund advisory and administration firm Maitland has restructured its institutional client services leadership team.

It appointed department heads to its five service sectors: private equity and real estate fund, ManCo, traditional fund, transfer agency, and hedge fund.

The private equity and real estate services department will be led by Bruce McGlogan, who joined Maitland in 2011 from JP Morgan private equity fund services, where he served as executive director.

“The product approach empowers each product head to drive all aspects of the delivery to clients, both in terms of day-to-day service as well as longer-term strategic alignment,” the firm said.

The entire institutional product offering will be led by former State Street managing director Jim Clarke, who joined Maitland’s South Africa office in May 2014.

The restructuring follows the firm’s launch of its flagship office in New York in September, which was part of its expansion across North and South America, as previously reported by pfm.
